How to Sleep well at Night

Hi friends, Today i am going to tell how to sleep well at night.It really helps us get through the day, when we can sleep great at night. Suffering from mild, or extreme cases of insomnia is not fun. We need to get our proper eight hours of sleep to function properly. Insomnia causes a lot of problems, if it’s not treated right.

Instructions

Things You’ll Need:

·         Bed

·         Milk

·         Warm shower

1.    Step 1

Do you sleep consistent hours? If not, start to sleep consistent hours. If you’re constantly going to bed at different times, this can cause sleep problems. Like say you go to sleep one night at 11 pm, then the next at 2 am, that it’s very healthy. Your body can’t make that adjustment consistently. It’s okay to do it every now and then, but if you’re consistently doing that, your body isn’t adjusting properly.

2.    Step 2

Make sure you don’t drink too much stimulants. Do you drink a lot of caffeine? Do you drink a soda, somewhere around the time you’re about to go to sleep? Don’t drink so much caffeine and watch your intake in sugar. You don’t want to drink any sugar substances, or have caffeine in your system for at least a few hours, before going to bed.

3.    Step 3

Make sure you drink of glass of milk, preferably warm. This relaxes your body. Don’t eat before going to bed, since that gives energy. At the same time, it’s better to not go to bed on an empty stomach.

4.    Step 4

Try to avoid stress. If you’re having a lot of stress in your life, this might be causing your body to not shut it down. Find a way to relieve the stress before going to sleep. Watch something that relaxes you before you go to bed. Chronic insomnia can come from stress in a persons life.

5.    Step 5

Take a warm shower and brush your teeth before you go to bed. This is a nice way to relax ones body, before bed.

6.    Step 6

Make sure you turn the tv off, or turn out the lights. These are distractions, and a very easy way to stay up all night. It’s okay to maybe have the radio on, something peaceful and relaxing. Something that can rest your mind.

7.    Step 7

Make sure you’re comfortable and just think about something peaceful. If you’re thinking about the days problems, and such forth, you probably aren’t getting the proper rest. Try to find a way to relax before bedtime. You need a peaceful mind, before going to sleep.

8.    Step 8

Change your sheets regularly. There’s nothing better than warm, clean, fresh sheets. You should be as comfy as possible before going to sleep. Sleep problems can occur from lack of comfort.

9.    Step 9

Consider taking sleep medicine, or sleeping pills. You can find sleeping pills at your local drug store, without a prescription. If you’re suffering from chronic insomnia, you might need something a bit stronger. Discuss this with a doctor. Read the warning side effects. Avoid drinking alcohol with them.

10.  Step 10

Make sure you don’t sit around too much. Don’t sit around too much. Work out and run. Maybe your body isn’t burning enough calories and aren’t being real active.

11.  Step 11

Make sure you’re not drinking a lot of alcohol. Maybe you should cut back on drinking. Do you find yourself sleeping better when you drink? Your body isn’t adjusting to this.

    These tips are indeed very useful. But we should also consider the reasons why we have trouble sleeping. Often times, we overlook the fact that it is our mattress causing us insufficient sleep. If it is too lumpy or too hot, you will stay up all night tossing and turning. This is why it is important to choose a mattress carefully. Make sure it has the ability to adjust to the contours of your body and to support your back. The mattress should also allow air to circulate inside to regulate body temperature.
